I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Anouk — somatic coach, mama of two girls and one dog. I live a relatively ‘slow’ life in a big city (London),:cycling everywhere, getting into the forest whenever possible, family dinners most nights, prioritising connection, movement and rest.

Ten years ago...

It probably looked like I was ‘successful’ from the outside - a stable job at Google, a new house, two young daughters, a partner. I’d ticked all the milestones.

But on the inside I was running on adrenaline and had been for years. Chronically tense. Disconnected from myself. Overgiving in every direction.

My body had been giving me subtle and then no so subtle cues for a while, but it took a full on burnout for me to pay attention.

The turning point

After having tried so many different therapies and modalities, it’s somatic work that led me back home to myself.

Instead of trying to think or fix my way through the tension — which I'd been doing for years — I was guided to feel it. To notice where it lived in my body. To stop overriding what was there and start listening to it and moving with it instead.

For the first time I understood what it actually meant to be in my body rather than just in my head. And from this place, I was able to access my real desires, my creative aliveness and my inner knowings.

My approach

I work with women who are in the messy middle of a transition — new motherhood, a career crossroads, midlife, entrepreneurship — and are ready to stop staying small and step into their most alive, creative and whole self.

My work blends somatic awareness, nervous system support feminine energy practices and grounded coaching.

I'm fuelled by long conversations, cycling across East London, dancing in the kitchen, swimming in the sea whenever I get the chance, and getting lost in new places with my family.

I have a background in community and programme management across startups, charities and most recently at Google. After leaving Google, I trained in leadership coaching with Helen Sieroda at Wise Goose, and later in feminine embodiment coaching with Jenna Ward at the School of Embodied Arts.

If any of this resonates and you’d like to explore working with me in my coaching container Embodied Confidence, I’d love to speak to you.
